In 2015 POD worked with the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Queensland, and Indij Design to undertake research on homelessness in Cairns and Townsville. This included 18 interviews with people living in supported accommodation with either Mission Australia in Cairns or Yumba Meta in Townsville. The stories and personal accounts of people experiencing homelessness were then collated into a report and strategy for the Department of Housing and Public Works in Brisbane.
