Maryborough Housing

POD worked closely with Maryborough Aboriginal Corporaton (MACorp) to redevelop an existing long, residential property in Maryborough. The site originally contained two dwellings in duplex arrangement. This project transformed it into five, single storey dwellings in a development that responds to Country, is sympathetic to the surrounding vernacular, and supports cultural preferences. This project demonstrates the possibilities when cultural respect, strong relationships and thoughtful design come together.
